The Visual Arts Centre Ltd. was set up as a not-for-profit limited company in 1979.

The Visual Arts Centre provides affordable studio spaces for professional visual artists at various stages of their careers. A diverse range of contemporary practices exist under the one roof. The secure studio environment in Dublin’s Stoney Batter gives members the opportunity to focus on their work.
