Richmond Road Studios has been a working studio since 2002. Originally named Pigdog Studios, Richmond Road Studios provides nineteen studio spaces to twenty-seven artists, including the downstairs Arctic Studios.

Arctic Studios is situated on the ground floor at Richmond Road Studios. Set up initially by Alan Magee two years ago, it operates as a purely sculpture based studio/workshop. It currently has three members; Alan Magee (sculptor), Vinnie Harris (sculptor) and Craig Sharkey (model maker).

The quiet location of Convent Avenue, coupled with the local amenities of Fairview make Richmond Road Studios an ideal location for artists of all media. Currently there are painters, sculptors, installation artists, multi-media artists and ceramicists working at Richmond Road Studios. All artists of all media are welcome at Richmond Studios, however, all of our members are long-term rentals, and a minimum rental of at least six months is preferred.
