The Market Studios is an independent work space dedicated to providing a locus where artists, curators and
writers can meet, work & produce. The studios were established in December 2007, in the former Visual Artists Ireland headquarters. Located in the heart of the markets area, just off Capel St, the studios provide work space for 15 practitioners in various disciplines including; artists, curators and writers. The Market Studios also hosts a project/gallery space committed to introducing work by international artists as well as creating a platform for a variety of events from a dynamic network of Irish, visual art practitioners.

To find us, walk north up Capel St. and take the third left onto Mary’s Lane (called Little Mary’s St. on some maps) and walk approx. 100 mts. The Market Studios are in the blue building (right hand side of the street) opposite the Dublin City Council fruit and veg market. The entrance is in Halston St. the second right on Mary’s Lane.
