Director Jacinta Lynch established the studios in 1997, as an independent, dedicated visual artists’ studio organisation. Located in the North Inner City within a 1940’s Modernist Industrial building, the studios have expanded over the years to include twenty-two individual studios, B & W photography, digital media and a large three and a half thousand square foot space for projects and exhibitions. Broadstone Studios is committed to artist-led autonomy.
